We are looking for a ship electrician to maintain the electrical distribution system, cabin and public space lighting, and galley and laundry equipment power supply aboard our cruise ship on Caribbean itineraries out of Miami. Fault-finding across some 1,800 guest cabins and public areas under time pressure between port calls is the core of the job.
A current ILO/MLC Medical Certificate and STCW Basic Safety Training are required; Advanced Fire Fighting is an advantage given the vessel's high-density passenger areas. We are looking for someone with at least three years of shipboard or comparable industrial electrical maintenance experience, comfortable working a rotating watch schedule in the engine department.
