Summary

••• is recruiting deckhands on behalf of a private Adriatic fishing operator for the 2027 season aboard a 34 m trawler based in Split. The vessel owner's identity is shared with shortlisted applicants after they apply.

Duties include handling nets and fishing gear, sorting and icing the catch, and general deck maintenance between fishing trips. A TR Ordinary Seaman certificate (or flag-state equivalent) and a current TR Seafarer Health Certificate (or flag-state equivalent) are required, along with at least a year of fishing or general deck experience.

Responsibilities

  • Handling nets and fishing gear during hauls
  • Sorting, icing and stowing the catch
  • Deck maintenance and gear repair between trips
  • General galley and accommodation upkeep aboard
