Fishing Vessel Master — Adriatic (Seasonal)

••• is recruiting on behalf of a private Adriatic fishing operator for a captain to run a 34 m trawler out of Split for the 2027 fishing season, working coastal and offshore grounds in the Adriatic. The vessel owner's identity is shared with shortlisted applicants after they apply.

You will hold full command responsibility for a ten-person crew, plan fishing grounds and gear deployment around seasonal quota rules, and keep the vessel's catch log and safety equipment in order. A TR Fishing Vessel Master certificate of competency (or flag-state equivalent) and a current TR Seafarer Health Certificate (or flag-state equivalent) are required, along with at least eight years of fishing vessel experience including prior time as captain or mate.
