Summary

We are looking for a fitter to carry out welding, pipework and mechanical repairs in the engine room of a 300 m container vessel, joining directly in Hamburg for a six-month contract.

You will work under the second engineer's direction on planned maintenance jobs, fabricate and repair pipework and brackets, and assist with machinery overhauls during port stays. STCW Basic Safety Training and a current MLC medical certificate are required, along with at least two years of shipboard fitting or welding experience.
