Summary
••• is looking for a chief engineer to take full engine room responsibility on a 228 m LR2 product tanker, MAN B&W main engine, three auxiliary generators and a cargo pump room requiring careful inert gas and vapour recovery management. Rotation is 90 days on, 30 days off, joining and signing off in Singapore.
You will lead an engine room team of six, run the planned maintenance system, coordinate spare parts procurement across ports with limited supply options, and be the technical point of contact during vetting inspections. A TR Chief Engineer (Unlimited) certificate of competency, a tanker endorsement and a current MLC medical certificate are required; Advanced Fire Fighting and prior team-leadership/HELM training are an advantage. We expect at least ten years of engine room experience with prior chief or first engineer time on tankers.
