Summary
We are looking for an able seaman to stand mooring, anchor and gangway watches aboard our cruise ship on Western Caribbean itineraries out of Miami. Line handling in busy cruise terminals under time pressure and lifeboat and tender maintenance during sea days make up the core of the rota.
An Able Seaman certificate (TR or equivalent STCW CoC) and a current ILO/MLC Medical Certificate are required alongside STCW Basic Safety Training. We are looking for someone with at least two years of deck rating experience, comfortable working rotating watches and general deck maintenance across a large passenger vessel.
Responsibilities
- Mooring, anchoring and gangway watchkeeping
- Lifeboat and tender maintenance
