We are looking for a bosun on 2:2 rotation for our 55 m explorer yacht in private use. The vessel runs the Mediterranean in the first half of the year and Northern Europe in the second; you join in Amsterdam or wherever the vessel lies.
We are looking for someone who can run the deck team to a daily work plan, handle tender and water sports operations safely, and who is meticulous with paint, varnish and teak. Explorer experience is not required, but time on yachts over 40 m is.
Responsibilities
Daily work planning and supervision of the deck team
Anchoring, mooring and tender operations
Teak, paint and varnish maintenance programme
Water sports equipment maintenance and guest safety
Deck stock and consumables tracking
